This film is actually starch buildup as opposed to any peeling. Our coating is sealed and therefore cannot peel in such a way. When cooking starchy foods, such as potatoes, pasta and/or rice, starch can accumulate in your pan. Simply clean with soap, water, and a soft sponge and this should resolve your issue. Once you wash it this should be easily removed.
