2. If you prefer, you can wash the plates with a gentle detergent after removing them from the base.
3. Refrain from using scouring pads, powders or chemical detergents on the Waffle Maker. It is recommended to clean the waffle plates after every use to maintain optimal non-stick performance.
At the places where the top and bottom plates make contact, the non-stick surfaces may show signs of wear. This is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the operation of the Waffle Maker."
